(<rant>Quick explanatory comment: I’ve just wasted a couple of hours trying to find a suitable licence to cover what’s needed here, with the result that all I can say is: I hate the stupidity of so-called ‘intellectual property’ law – of even the concept of such ‘property’, let alone the practice of the law that purports to protect it. (As far as I can see, the primary function of present-day ‘intellectual property’ law is to legitimize theft by large corporations and punish those who have been stolen from…) The CC NY BC licence doesn’t correctly cover what’s needed here, but it’ll have to do: advice / suggestions on a more appropriate licencing model would be much appreciated. My primary aim is to collaborate in development of something that can be shared by everyone, so the sole function of this notice is to prevent commercial organizations pretending that this is their own work, placing their own ‘intellectual property’ notice on it, and selling it on to others at high fees, often with minimal if any change, and without understanding of the reasoning behind it, thus compounding theft with damage to the usability of the material. Everyone loses as a result of such expropriation. This has happened to me and to others in the past, and I do not want it to happen again in this case.</rant>)

Please return any review-comments or suggestions to Tom Graves tom@tetradian.com , so that they can be shared with the wider community.

If you are not able to comply with the standard conditions of the CC BY NC licence, or the conditions are unacceptable to you, please don't read any further on this website.

Thank you.
